Quarry Park and Nature Preserve:

Quarry Park and Nature Preserve contains 684 acres which is the largest park in the Stearns County system. The park is open year-round and is open from 8:00 am to one-half hour after sunset. What can you find to do at Quarry Park? There are granite reflecting pools, swimming quarries, scientific and natural areas, mountain bike paths, trout fishing, picnic areas, hiking trails, rock climbing, scuba diving and more.

Biking/Hiking Trails:

Lake Wobegon Trail

The Lake Wobegon Trail is a 46-mile long, 10 foot wide, bituminous surfaced hike-and-bike pathway. The trail, which opened on September 30, 1998, extends through Central MN from the city of St. Joseph to the city of Osakis. To learn more about the trail click on the following link:

Glacial Lakes Trail

The Glacial Lakes State Trail is located on a former Burlington Northern Railroad grade, and is generally level and accessible. The trail is paved with asphalt for 22 miles between Willmar, Spicer, New London, Hawick, and the Kandiyohi/Stearns County line. An additional 7.5 miles from Roscoe in Stearns County to Cold Spring is also paved.
